He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lyde Griggs and Florence Miller Griggs; and his brother Dale Miller Griggs. He is survived by: his brothers, Johnny Lyde Griggs, Jr. and William Lynn Griggs, Sr.; his wife Loretta Foster Griggs; his sons, Robert Glenn Griggs, Jr. (Julie) and Jonathan Foster Griggs (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Judson Glenn Griggs, Jacob Archer Griggs and Kathryn Griggs Stevens (Alex); his great grandchild David Link Stevens; his siblings' children, Brandon, John, Lynn, Rocky Griggs and Sherry Griggs Burick; and his sisters-in-law, Dana and Janet Griggs.
