He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Virginia Grubbs and Laura Jeanette Graham Grubbs; and his brother Gary Grubbs. He is survived by: his wife Katherine "Dianne" Walker Grubbs; his children, Carolynne "Lynne" Hobbs (Roddie), Rhonda "Lynn" Roland, Ricky Hull, Chrissie Grubbs, Kelly Grubbs (Paige), Michael Hull, Tonia Grubbs and Angie Wilkins (Chris); and his sisters, Patricia Teague, Tonya Harrison (John) and Billie Tarr (Phil). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Center Hill Baptist Church (3759 NC-8, Lexington, NC 27292). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
