It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Dale Dalton of Lexington, North Carolina, who passed away on January 16, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfon Eugene Dalton and Mary Juanita Tankersley Dalton; his wife Nancy Louise Bell Dalton; his brothers, James Dalton and Buddy Dalton; and his sister-in-law Carol Mullins.
He is survived by: his niece Teresa Dalton; his daughters, Amy Lynnette Horn (Robert) and Mary Beth Shoemaker (Johnny); his brothers-in-law, Sonny Bell (Terri), Bill Bell (Ilse) and David Bell (Jackie); his daughters-in-law, Linda Dolan and Marlyn Frazier (Larry); his grandchildren, Corbin Horn, Sebastian Horn, Lyric Horn, Krystin McCrary (Justin), Kaylee Shoemaker and Kaden Shoemaker; and his great grandchildren, Ivy Horn, Willow Horn and Ellany McCrary. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and a host of great nieces and great nephews.
