It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rosa Lee Craven (Lexington, North Carolina), born in Boone, North Carolina, who passed away on August 6, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Kirkpatrick, Sr. and Elizabeth Hagler Kirkpatrick; her husband George Craven; and her siblings, Leroy Kirkpatrick, Jr., James Kirkpatrick, Carl Kirkpatrick, Joann Kirkpatrick, Mary Jane Rice and Daisy Mae Kirkpatrick.
She is survived by: her grandson Adrian Kirpatrick; her daughter Charlene Davis (Curtis) of Lexington; her grandsons, Marcus Kirkpatrick (Melissa) of Lansing and Adrian Kirkpatrick; her great grandchildren, Kasi Hedglen (Barry), Brody Kirkpatrick and Deontrae Young-Kirkpatrick; her siblings, Samuel Kirkpatrick of Oakridge, Tenn and Geraldine Horton of Lenoir, NC; her aunt Clara McQueen of Boone, NC; and her stepdaughter Velma Hargrave (Danny). She is also survived by four great-great-grandchildren.
