We are sad to announce that on June 13, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Roy Avery Shepherd of Lexington, North Carolina. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, David Wesley Shepherd and Maggie Leu Shepherd; and his daughter-in-law Dawn Shepherd. He is survived by: his wife Gracie Leonard Shepherd; his children, Theresa Crooks (Ronnie), Roy Darrell Shepherd and Jody Lee Shepherd; and his granddaughters, Cassie, Amber and Jeannie.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Davidson Funeral Home (301 N Main St, Lexington, NC 27292). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church (320 S State St, Lexington, NC 27292). A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at the Forest Hill Memorial Park (1307 W Old Hwy 64, Lexington, NC 27295).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Roy's memory to First Lutheran Church.
