She is survived by: her sons, Jacob "Bud" Leevan Powell Jr. (Debbie) of Danville Virginia, William Leevon (John), Corky Eugene Powell (Sam) of Lexington, Herman Grant Powell (Carrie) of Welcome and James Robert Powell (Catherine) of Cleveland, NC; and her siblings, William Phelps and Alice Phelps Roten. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild.
