He was predeceased by : his parents, James Samuel Owens and Frances Gabard Owens; and his siblings, Ronnie and Sue. He is survived by : his wife Leona Huggins Owens; his daughters, Beverly Owens (Daniel) of High Point, Sheryl Weaver of Southmont and Hayley Tally (Brian); his siblings, Robert, Keith, Bobby, Leona, Margaret and Wanda; his grandchildren, Ariana and Jordan; and his pets, Munchkin, Sparky, Xena, Anakin and Lucky. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
