We are sad to announce that on October 31, 2022, at the age of 76, Samuel L. Sims of Lexington, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Glenn Sims and Georgia Burgess Sims; and his wife Patsy Jo Hege Sims. He is survived by: his siblings, Robert S. Sims (Susan) of Winston Salem and Mary Wilcox of Kernersville. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
