She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis S. Freeman and Rachel Nance Freeman; her son Michael Clay Johnson; her brother David E. Freeman; and her nephew Thomas C. Freeman, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Rick Johnson of Thomasville, NC and Beth J. Stewart (John) of Linwood, NC; her grandchildren, Melia S. Tysinger (Lucas), Clay Walser (Felicia), Trevor Swicegood (Samantha), Meadow Stewart, Johna Stewart, Summer Canovai (Lance) and Matt Catlin; her great grandchildren, Kaiden, Wyatt, Emberly, Declan, Koleson, Kaspen, Bella and Zayn; her siblings, Steve Feeman (Shelby), Tom Freeman (Jane), Dwight Freeman (Jan) of Lexington and Gwendy Hays of Dallas, TX; Richard Johnson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
