She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Thurman Yarbrough and Bertha Wilson Yarbrough Myers; her husband Silas Allen Phillips; and her brother James "Boots" Yarbrough. She is survived by: her children, Michael Shane Yarbrough, Michelle Yarbrough Epley and Mary Phillips Leihenseder; her grandchildren, Ashley Y. Mahala (Gene), Lindsay Y. McLain (David), Lena K. Vawter and Cathryn F. Leihenseder; her great grandchildren, Tristan M. Clodfelter, Branson A. McLain and Vanna A. Vawter; her siblings, Joe "Jitter" Yarbrough and Barbara J. Hall (Bobby); and her pet Bandit.
