He is survived by: his wife Reva Howard Pennington; his daughters, Jacqueline Crews (David) and Kimberly Felty; his stepchildren, Sheila Payne (Curtis) and Mark Payne (Sherry); his sister Mary Kathryn "Mary K" Stanley (Joe); his daughter-in-law Susan Payne; his grandchild Maddison; his stepgrandchildren, Christopher, Bryan, Dylan and Lindsey; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Kaleb and Hayden; his nephew Brian Davidson; and his great-nieces, Mary Claire and Virginia Emery.
