He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse James Byers and Martha Harris Byers; and his siblings, Larry Byers and Libby Byers. He is survived by: his wife Krem Byers; his children, Sam Byers, Thoarak Sambath, James Byers, Hunter Byers, Chanthearin Sambath (Chreng Khloeum), ChanTheary Sambath (Tabitha) and Tiffany Witcher; his brother Sam Byers (Pam); his siblings-in-law, Bunly and Kry; and his grandchildren, Katherine Chreng, Kaitlin Roldan (Anthony), Joseph Auten, Alexander Auten and Vegeta Chreng. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of extended family.
