He was predeceased by: his mother Bessie Mitchell Byrd; and his wife Delores Kaye Odell Byrd. He is survived by: his sons, Tim Byrd (Teresa), Ricky Byrd (Jill) and Marcus Byrd (Nancy); his grandchildren, Misty Mixon (Travis), April Byrd, Brittany Byrd, Candace Combs (Zachary) and Alexis Wilson; his great grandchildren, Jacob Blackmer, Elizabeth Lord and Nolynn Creech; and his pet Bailey.
