He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances Townsend, and Tony Townsend, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Jones Townsend; his daughter Michelle Townsend O'Bryant (Matt) of Lexington; and his grandsons, Collin O'Bryant of Mentor, OH and Nolan O'Bryant of Lexington.
