She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Ivan Leonard and Lena Mae Tuttle Leonard; her son Deric Dyrone Leonard; and her siblings, Gary E. Leonard and Nancy Leonard.
She is survived by: her daughter Shawnetta Peebles; her grandson Brycen Nichols; and her siblings, Robert Leonard (Emma), Vernon Leonard, Priscilla F. Leonard, Earlene Leonard, Martha King and Cammie Smith (Bruce). She is also survived by aunts, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
