He is survived by: his wife Mollie Conrad McGuinn; his children, Marinda Maxwell (Red) of Winston-Salem, NC and William Stephenson "Steve" McGuinn, Jr. (Suzie) of Durham, NC; his grandchildren, Miller Dossett (Gus), Anna Catherine "Cassie" Maxwell and Reagan McGuinn; and his great grandchild Andrew "Drew" Dossett II.
