It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willie Hairston (Lexington, North Carolina), born in Davidson, North Carolina, who passed away on April 10, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Manchfield Hairston and Alberta Jean Hairston Simms; his former wife JoAnn Hairston; his wife Mae Deen Hairston; and his son Anthony Hairston.
He is survived by: his daughter Kimberly Michelle Hairston; his daughter-in-law Kim Hairston; and his grandchildren, Millicent Marshall, Johnathan Friend, Travis Tyler, Courtney Gray, La'Kayla Hairston, LeOndria Hairston, An'Quan Hairston and Asjah Hairston. He is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and dear friends.
