He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Sr. Vawter and Velna Vawter; his wife Vonceil; and his brother David Vawter. He is survived by: his siblings, Maxine Mull, Sue Everhart, Kaye Parker and Roger Vawter; and his son Paul Vawter (Cynthia). He is also survived by grandson and 3 great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Coggins Church (810 W 4th Ave, Lexington, NC 27292).
