He is survived by: his brothers, Hampton and Donald Scotton; his wife Betty Hunsucker Scotton; his children, Tammy McKinney of Asheboro, Jan Scotton (Glenn Armentrout) of Kannapolis, Joy Scotton and Jeff Scotton (Tina) of Staley; his grandchildren, Bryan Frazier, Daniel Scotton, Cory Cummings, Kody Cummings, Patrick Cummings, Shane Cummings, Allison McKinney, Case McKinney and Heather Brooks; and his sister Linda Kimrey of Staley. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
