He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Hammer and Addie Elaine Saunders Hammer. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Daniel Hammer; his stepson Brian Wilkerson; his grandsons, Shane Wilkerson and Michael Smith; and his sister Priscilla Nichols.
A reception will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Loflin Funeral Home (212 W Swannanoa Ave, Liberty, NC 27298).
