She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Lee Usrey and Verna May Murray Usrey. She is survived by: her children, Brad Gilmore of Wilmington and Leslie Hyatt (Frank) of Polkton; her grandson Raylan Hyatt of Polkton; and her caregiver Betty Robinson of Wadesboro. She is also survived by her nieces and nephew.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Gum Springs Baptist Church (2590 Haileys Ferry Rd, Lilesville, NC 28091). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at the same location.
