She is survived by : her children, Connie Roberts (Donald Abbott) of Lillington and Christopher Jay Womack of Lillington; her grandchildren, Justin Patterson, Amanda Ashley, Ashlee Patterson, Katie Patterson, Travis Roberts, Austin Roberts, Claudia Farmer and Angela Stone; and her brothers, Larry Matthews of Sanford and Jerry Matthews of Wilkesboro. She is also survived by 8 great- grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home & Crematory (1310 S Main St, Lillington, NC 27546). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
