It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jewel Baker Ashworth of Lillington, North Carolina, who passed away on August 4, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Joab Baker and Vida Tart Baker; her husband Calvin Ashworth; and her son Calvin Ashworth, Jr.. She is survived by : her daughter Vivian Pryor; her siblings, Faye Arnold and Jerry Baker; her grandchildren, Julia Galvan, Jamey Gilbert, Dylan Pryor and Lauren Pryor; and her great grandchildren, Andrew, Keygan, Dominic and Lori.
