He was predeceased by : his parents, Ozie Ashworth and Eulla Maie Vaughn Ashworth; his girlfriend Julie Parrish; his brother Calvin Ashworth; and his nephew Calvin Ashworth, Jr..

He is survived by : his niece Vivian Ashworth (Rusty) of Buies Creek, NC; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Dylan Pryor (Cassie), Jamey Gilbert, Julia Galvan (Andre) and Lauren Pryor of Lillington, NC.; and also, Lori, Dominic of Southport, NC, Keygan of Coats, NC and A. J. Galvan of Coats, NC.

Memorials may be made to the Disabled Veteran's of America.
