Though Charlene may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Arthur Roach and Nellie Florence Roach; her daughter Phyllis Ann Pruitt; and her husband Robert "Bob" Henninger. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Stefanie Morrison Gaines and James Morrison; and her great grandchildren, Jayme Gaines Cole and Matthew Gaines of Texas. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home (1310 S Main St, Lillington, NC 27546). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery (400 Murchison Rd, Fayetteville, NC 28390).
