He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Jamis and Ina Jamis; and his siblings, Herb, Dean, Robert, Frank, James, Wayne and Dorothy.

He is survived by: his wife Sarah Jamis; his children, Kathi (Clint), Kandi, Phil (Becky), Kris (Doug), Damon, Justin (Krysha), Katie (Tyler) and Kassi (James); and his pet Samson. He is also survived by 36 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Kipling United Methodist Church (55 Kipling Church Rd, Kipling, NC 27543).
