She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Henry and Generah Lee Smith Haire; her husband William "Bill" Roland Murray; her daughter Jenny Lynn Holmes; and her sister Sadie Lynch.
She is survived by: her son Randy Edward Holmes (Cathy); her grandchildren, Tenille Naumann (Tracy), Brad Edward Gregory (Jessica) and Brent Elliott Gregory; her great grandchildren, T. J. Naumann, Hayley Naumann, Kayla Naumann, Nathan Edward Gregory and Logan Ray Gregory; her great great grandchildren, Carter and Jasper James; and her sister Madge Brown McBride (Mickey). She is also survived by her family/grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM at the O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home (1310 S Main St, Lillington, NC 27546). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel (1310 S Main St, Lillington, NC 27546).
