She was predeceased by: her parents, Irvin Deal and Eunice Deal; her husband Charles Thomas Denkins; and her siblings, Ora Mae McNeill, Polly Spivey, Sue Nell Deal and Jimmy Deal.

She is survived by: her sisters, Dorothy Patterson and Lib O'Kelley. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
