She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter "Buddy" Francis Bowland and Martha Morflak Cook; her brother Charlie Bowland; her grandson Brandon Hill; and her stepfather James Cook.
She is survived by: her daughters, Windy Hill (Brent) of Lillington, NC, Rachel Maynard (Christopher Crenshaw) of Fayetteville and Janet Seybert of Lillington, NC; her sister Bonnie Cook of Montgomery, Alabama; and her grandchildren, Tiffany Lambert (Josh), Nicholas Taylor (Jessica), Daniel Motes (Autumn), Christian Thaui (Austin), Christopher Seybert (Latasha), Amanda Hall, Karl Seybert (Ashley) and David Seybert (Allison). She is also survived by twenty-one great grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be made to the funeral home or to a charity of one's choice.
