We are sad to announce that, on May 8, 2026, at the age of 77, John McKenna (Lillington, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, John is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that John's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles McKenna and Edith McKenna of Saugus, MA.. He is survived by: his son John; his wife Patricia McKenna of Cary, NC; his children, Cheryl Giangregorio (Jason) of Danvers, MA, Sarah Pinnix (Judd) of Fleetwood, NC, Sandy Chidester (Seth) of Washington, NH, Charles Mckenna of Topsail Beach, NC and Jodi Jeffries (Nicholas) of Cary, NC; and his siblings, Charles McKenna (Christine) of Saugus, MA, Judith Boyle (Richard) of Weymouth, MA and Karen McCollem of Malden, MA.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren.
