She was predeceased by: her parents, Georgia Ellison and Codie Thrash; her daughter Theresa; and her brother Willie James "Billy" Bailey. She is survived by: her siblings, Leonard Mitchell Jr., Hazel Mitchell and Betty Mitchell; her granddaughter Angela; her great grandchildren, Deysia, Donald (DJ) and Eric; and her great great grandchild Joshua. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends who were touched by her kindness.
A wake will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Adcock Funeral Home and Crematory (2226 Lillington Hwy, Spring Lake, NC 28390). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Riverview Memorial Gardens (1899 N Bragg Blvd, Spring Lake, NC 28390).
