With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Leo McDonald of Lillington, North Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Josie Avent and John Daniel McDonald; his daughter Gwen McDonald; his siblings, Dorothy Bishop, Janet Stone and Charlie McDonald; and his stepgrandson Justin.
He is survived by: his wife Pat Woodley McDonald; his son Johnny McDonald (April); his granddaughter Ann Marie; and his great grandchild Lotus "Bug".
During those years he served as a charter member and past president of the Lillington Lions and received the Jack Stickley Fellowship award, the highest honor given by the North Carolina Lions Foundation for humanitarian service.
