She was predeceased by: her parents, Alene Parker Turner and William Bryant Turner; and her former husband Geta Wood. She is survived by: her husband Claude "Dick" Perkins; her siblings, William "Bill" Turner, Bernice Turner (Susan) and Anne Murray (Johnny); her children, Lynn Wood (Dianna), Sonja Wood and Dale Wood (Angie); her grandchildren, Jessica Fleishman (Aaron), Jonathan Wood, Matthew Wood and Kade Wood; and her great grandchildren, Addison Wood, Bryant Fleishman and Brooklyn Fleishman.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home (1310 S Main St, Lillington, NC 27546).
