He was predeceased by: his father Joseph Gale. He is survived by: his mother Sarah Matthews Gale; his wife April Thatcher Gale; his daughter Kim Avery of Lillington; his grandchildren, Nicholas of Lillington and Emma Avery of Lillington; and his brothers, Dalton Gale of Fayetteville and D. J. Gale of Fayetteville. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home & Crematory (1310 S Main St, Lillington, NC 27546). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
