It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nora Helen Rogers of Lillington, North Carolina, who passed away on February 1, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Neill Thomas McLeod and Mary Stone McLeod; her husband Walter "Ed" Edgerton Rogers; her siblings, Neill "Tommy" Thomas McLeod, Jr. and Dorothy Ann McLeod; her daughter Heidi Michelle Rogers; and her grandson Joshua Adam Nixon.
She is survived by : her children, Marsha Nixon (Kelvin), Dawn Rogers, Susie Hughes, Thomas Rogers, Timothy Rogers (Laney) and Jesse Hughes (Michelle); her sisters, Marilyn McNeill (Julius) and Sue Glendening (Jeff); her sister-in-law Janice Burtner (Harry); her grandchildren, Heidi Nixon (Joey), Kassidy Nixon (Abdullah), Cole Nixon, Tori Nixon and Emmy Rogers; her great grandchild Salma Qaddoura; her nieces, Tonya Fullerton, Jessie Fordham, Rebecca McNeill, Nicole Norris and Adrienne Smith; her nephew Andrew McNeill; and her great-nephew Trace Fordham.
