The passing of Richard Bruce Wallace of Lillington, North Carolina leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on October 7, 2025 at the age of 89. He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Marshall Wallace and Clara Elizabeth Nance Wallace; his wife Becky Brooks Wallace; and his son Charles Richard Wallace. He is survived by: his daughter Mary Leigh Howell; his son-in-law Ross of Greensboro; his grandson Michael Brooks Wallace of Charlotte; his daughter-in-law Paige LaNier Wallace of Holly Springs; and his caregivers, Kathi Dawson, Kathy Tart, Paige Wallace and Richard. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bryan-Lee Funeral Home - Angier (300 E McIver St, Angier, NC 27501). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Lillington United Methodist Church (1201 S Main St, Lillington, NC 27546). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Westview Cemetery (2264 US-421, Lillington, NC 27546).
