It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Vernon McNeill of Lillington, North Carolina, who passed away on June 9, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleve McNeill and Ruth Byrd McNeill; his brother James L. McNeill; and his grandson Jhonathan McNeill. He is survived by: his children, Sharon L. McNeill, Charlene R. Beeson (Steven), Cary D. McNeill and Christopher J. McNeill; his sisters, Judy Angel (Bob), Janet Black (Gary) and Jean Patterson (Danny); his grandson Alex McNeill (Dulce); and his great grandchild Mateo.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home (1310 S Main St, Lillington, NC 27546). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel (1310 S Main St, Lillington, NC 27546). A burial will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery (6670 Old US Hwy 421, Lillington, NC 27546).
