Selma left this world on September 1, 2025 at the age of 97, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Puzie and Verta Cox Lett; her husband Lee Winfred Cummings; her siblings, Gladys Lett, Esther Yarborough, Cleo Byrd, Alice Womack, Violet Gilmore, Betty Garner, Puzie Doyle "Bud" Lett and Gilbert Lett; her niece Maxine Patterson; and her nephew Lux Lett.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Temple (Bobby) of Lillington, Bonnie Thomas (Donnie) of Sanford and Scott Cummings (Vicki) of Fayetteville; and her grandchildren, Jeremy Thomas, Tina Rawls, Mary Temple, Hank Cummings and Lauren Cummings. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
