She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Franklin Kennedy and Sadie Ellen Woodley Kennedy; and her husband Frank Amfort Shelburne. She is survived by: her daughter Barbara Ellen Shelburne; her grandsons, Corey Matthew Clayton and Steven Michael Clayton; and her child Lee (Sadie).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Lillington Baptist Church (210 W Lofton St, Lillington, NC 27546). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
