She was predeceased by: her parents, Ichinosuke Akiba and Kuwako Akiba; her husband James William Hall; her daughter Gennis Heromi Hall Nelson; and her brother Koji Akiba.
She is survived by: her daughters, Diane Hall Byrd (Mark), Tammy Hall (Kevin Cochran) and Joanne Hall Davis (James Smith); her son-in-law Ed Nelson (Laura); her grandchildren, Amanda Byrd (Ashton Verdery), Andrew Byrd (Ashley), Matthew Nelson (Katie), Joshua Nelson (Molly) and Naomi Davis; her great grandchildren, Elodie Verdery, Emmeline Verdery, Chloe Byrd and Kai Byrd; and her sisters, Chieko Yamada, Kumiko Tanaka and Kimiko Tateiwa. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
