She was predeceased by : her parents, Lee Roy Bridges and Dora Vann Woodlief Bridges; and her brothers, Morris Bridges and George Bridges. She is survived by : her sons, Jeffrey Gardner (Lynda) and Michael Pearce; her siblings, Phyllis and Lee Roy; her grandchildren, Michelle, Meagan and Dylan; and her great grandchild Magnolia.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to any Alzheimer's research organization.
