She was predeceased by : her father Russell Thompson Hager; her husband Ray Cloninger; her daughters, Ginger Cloninger and Cindy Cloninger; and her sister Jackie Price.

She is survived by : her children, Kent Cloninger (Liz) of Davidson, NC and Karla Cloninger Duncan (Randy) of Davidson, NC; her siblings, Charles Hager (Hilda) of New London, NC and Emily Murr of Wilmington, NC; her stepsisters, Sue Sherrill (Tony) of Denver, NC and Jane Thomas of Green Mountain, NC; and her granddaughters, Reagan Cloninger and Reese Cloninger. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
