It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Becky Kay Hester Knight (Lincolnton, North Carolina), who passed away on May 4, 2026, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Lee Hester and Helen Gillian Hester; and her brothers, James Gillian, Billy Hester, Jimmy Dean Hester, Roy Lee Hester and Howard "Cisco" Hester.

She is survived by: her husband David Knight; her children, Jimmy Franklin Knight of Stony Point, William David Knight of Lincolnton and Sharon Roberts (Barry Holt) of Maiden; her sisters, Patricia Hester of Maiden and Coleen Ingle of Lincolnton; and her grandchildren, Paul "Trey" Roberts, III (Ashtyn), Thomas Michael Knight, Ford David Knight, Lariah Shaye Knight, Jessica Rauzi, Heather Kay Knight, Madison Dianne Knight, Kimberly Dawn Patton and Angiela Abrogena.
