She is survived by: her brothers, Virgil Hoyle, Ted Dodson and Clarence Dodson; her husband Max Reeves Clawson; her children, Janice Lynn Clawson, Pam Clawson Byrd (Johnny) of Connelly Springs, NC, Michael Reeves Clawson (Michael Pratt) of Muncie, IN. and Baltimore, MD; and her nieces, Susan Dodson Drum of Cherryville and Teresa Dodson Powell of Vale.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Warlick Funeral Home (125 Dave Warlick Dr, Lincolnton, NC 28092). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel (125 Dave Warlick Dr, Lincolnton, NC 28092). A burial will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens (Old East King St, Boone, NC 28607).
