She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Hammond and Dorothy Mae Kitchen Hammond; and her brothers, Barry Hammond and Brian Hammond. She is survived by: her husband Rick Horsley; her daughter Angela Gurka (Rob) of Tennessee; her grandchildren, Carissa and Robby Gurka; her siblings, Brenda Shepherd (Don) and Bruce Hammond (Sheila); her nephews, Dr. Christopher Hammond (Amanda) and Seth Shepherd; and her niece Jordan Hammond. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home (1310 3rd St, West Portsmouth, OH 45663). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
