He was predeceased by: his father Bobby Carroll Armstrong. He is survived by: his mother Joanne Harris Casey; his wife Joyce Lavender Armstrong; his stepson Michael Funderburk (Angela) of Dallas; his siblings, Mitchell Armstrong (Shea) of Iron Station and Rena Fletcher of Lincolnton; his stepfather David of Crouse; his grandchildren, Jacob Funderburk (Kendall) of Maiden, Caleb Funderburk (Christa) of Lincolnton and Abby Funderburk of Maiden; his siblings' children, Deanna Lowe, Danny Armstrong and Justin Armstrong; and also Sharon Bailey (Nate).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Warlick Funeral Home (125 Dave Warlick Dr, Lincolnton, NC 28092). A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Southside Baptist Church Cemetery (1726 Southside Rd, Lincolnton, NC 28092).
