He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Henry Clark, Sr. and Vergie Smith Clark; and his sister Nora Heavner. He is survived by : his wife Annette Murphy Clark; his children, Melissa Clark of Crouse and Chuck Clark (Casey) of Belmont; his grandchildren, Emily Fulbright (Nathan), Murphy Clark, Emma Kate Clark and Reece Clark; his great grandchild Luther Fulbright; and his sisters, Martha Stroup of Hickory and Virginia Sigmon (Ray) of Maiden.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 8th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the Crouse United Methodist Church (3311 Crouse School Rd, Crouse, NC 28033). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 8th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
