It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clara Bivens Cook (Lincolnton, North Carolina), who passed away on April 11, 2026, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Barry Bivens and Margaret Ann Neal Bivens; her husband Yates Ervin Cook; and her sister Sheila Jo Bivens. She is survived by: her children, David Cook (Susan) of Maiden, Peggy Blevins (Coleman Hinson) of Waco and Faye Cook of Shelby. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren.
