He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Catania and Concepcion Young Catania. He is survived by: his wife Rosalie M. Catania; his daughters, Vicki Messler and Rita Garson (Justin); and his sister Cathleen Catania. He is also survived by six grandsons.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Saint Luke's Episcopal Church (315 N Cedar St, Lincolnton, NC 28092).
