He is survived by: his wife Kay Reep Lawing; his son Tim Lawing (Janet); his granddaughter Lindsey Lawing (Tod Lawing); his son Logan; his grandson Grayson; his siblings, Wallace Lawing (Pat) of Lincolnton, Jerry Lawing (Billie Jo) of Sherrills Ford, NC., Pat Rush of Lincolnton and Jeannie Arrowood (Gene) of Lincolnton; and his sister-in-law Lurylene Lawing of Lincolnton.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Forest Lawn Cemetery (2858 NC-150, Lincolnton, NC 28092).
